13% increase in container handling transshipment at Jeddah Islamic Port

Jeddah Islamic Saudi Port has achieved an increase in the handling of transshipment containers since the beginning of the current year until the end of August 2018, which reached 13% compared to the same period of the previous year. The number of container containers reached 1.3 million containers, compared to 1.2 million containers in the year 2017 AD.
It is noteworthy that Jeddah Islamic Port is the first major port in the region and is located on the international shipping line linking it between three continents of Europe, Africa and Asia. It is also the first and most important in the field of trans-maritime trade and in container transportation, due to the integration of its infrastructure and berths, Meters and a maximum load capacity of 19,800 TEUs.
