147 building permits “in progress” in Abu Dhabi within a week

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality of the Department of Municipalities and Transport issued 147 building permit transactions “in progress” during the past week, which varied between 97 residential building permits, 9 commercial, 4 industrial, 14 utilities, and 23 other building permits.

The municipality stated that those permits issued during the week included building permits issued within 5 working days and amounted to 8, while building permits issued in less than 5 working days amounted to 139.

The municipality indicated that the improvements it recently made in the unified electronic system for building permits contributed to reducing the time for obtaining these permits, explaining that it is one of the main windows for dealing with the concerned parties in the building system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
