Brazilian exports to the UAE in the first half

The volume of Brazilian exports to the UAE between January and August 2019 / 1534.18 million dollars, or 1,825.90 thousand tons of goods, while imports from the UAE 380.35 million dollars, or 680.75 thousand tons.
The figures were announced during a symposium organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Brazilian Embassy in the International Chamber of Commerce in Dubai as part of the visit of the Brazilian delegation headed by Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Catering Theresa Christina to Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates to discuss agricultural development and food security opportunities. High-level officials from some Arab countries.
The mission included representatives of 30 Brazilian companies and institutions specialized in agribusiness.
“The trade mission aims to open new opportunities for Brazilian goods including beef, poultry, sugar, corn and coffee to enter the growing Arab markets, especially the UAE,” said Robbins Hannoun, president of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
“We are confident that meetings with senior officials will achieve fruitful results, especially in the context of enhancing cooperation between the parties concerned and stakeholders,” he said.
