1891 million dinars real estate trading in the Jordanian market during the first third of this year

The volume of trading in the Jordanian real estate market decreased by 7 percent in the first third of this year to 1891 million dinars compared with 2028 million dinars for the same period of 2017. The Land and Survey Department said in its monthly report on real estate trading in the Kingdom that the value of revenues for the end of April also decreased by 7 percent to 97.8 million dinars, 105.7 million dinars for the same period of 2017. The value of total revenues and apartment exemptions fell by 7 percent to 123.5 million dinars against 132.5 million dinars for the same period. In terms of land sales to non-Jordanians, Iraqi nationality came first with an estimated value of 34.5 million dinars, 40% of the estimated value of non-Jordanians, and Saudi nationality 11.6 million and 14%, and Syrian nationality 7.7 million and 9%.
