Dubai, March 16 / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than 2.1 billion dirhams, as the department witnessed the registration of 635 pledges of allegiance at a value of 1.56 billion dirhams, including 37 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 237.79 million dirhams, and 598 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 1.32 billion dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 25 million dirhams in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area, followed by a pledge of 24 million dirhams in the first Jumeirah area, followed by a pledge of 23 million dirhams in the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Gardens area.
Al Habiya Fifth District topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 14 sales at a value of 35 million dirhams, followed by the first Jebel Ali region, with 4 sales at a value of 28 million dirhams, and a third in Al Khawaneej Al Awwal, with 4 sales at a value of 15 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 44 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 40 million dirhams in the Burj Khalifa area, and finally the sale of 36 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Al Barsha, south of the fourth district, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 128 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 91 million dirhams, followed by the first area of Al Khiran, with 63 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 165 million dirhams, and a third in Dubai Marina, with 45 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 126 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 505.91 million dirhams, of which 24 land mortgages amounted to 38.87 million dirhams and 83 mortgages of villas and apartments amounted to 467.04 million dirhams.
As for donations, 31 donations were recorded, with a value of 69.08 million dirhams, the most important of which was in Wadi Al-Safa 6, with a value of 15 million dirhams, and another in the Dubai Marina area, with a value of 11 million dirhams.
