Undersecretary of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Ahmad Al-Ayedah, signed the contract for the construction of the fishing harbor in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah region with a value of SR 24,722,994 with one of the competent companies to establish the port on the west coast road Yanbu-Amalj, And the city of Amlaj 81 km.
The clinic is equipped with 180 small fishing boats, 10 large fishing boats, 3 360 m long floating berths for small boats, a 40m long floating berth for large boats, a 90m long concrete pier and a 100m long wave breaker.
He pointed out that the port includes a support service area, including a fuel station to supply boats with fuel, water tanks and pumping station to supply boats with drinking water and feeding fire fighting boxes along the port, in addition to the availability of a border guard building consisting of two floors, one floor 85 square meters, For the introduction and removal of boats to the maintenance area, explaining that the port is a natural port serving many fishermen of the region and adjacent areas.
