Artificial Intelligence Applications to contribute 35% of UAE’s GDP by 2030

Artificial intelligence applications in the various economic sectors are expected to contribute 35% of the UAE’s GDP in 2030, according to specialized international references that show that the country is one of the best equipped countries to benefit from the strength of artificial intelligence worldwide.

This international nomination is supported by the professional application and achievements achieved over the past years in upgrading the efficiency of government services, including innovations and digital technology in various sectors, which will in turn enhance the country’s ability to cope with sudden economic risks with a readiness up to 90% according to the latest studies issued by the Ministry Economy.

The UAE’s 2031 Artificial Intelligence Strategy, the first project as part of the country’s centennial vision, will contribute to providing pioneering solutions, creating new opportunities and marketing with high economic value, and stimulating entrepreneurs in 9 key sectors of the national economy.

These sectors include the technology sector where services and innovations based on artificial intelligence applications will increase productivity and help public spending, as well as the space sector, helping to conduct accurate experiments and reduce the rate of costly errors.

The list also includes the transport sector where accidents will be reduced and the operating cost will be reduced, along with the health sector and the reduction of chronic and dangerous diseases. The renewable energy sector will benefit from artificial intelligence in the management of facilities.

In the water sector, artificial intelligence plays a major role in conducting accurate analyzes and studies to provide water resources, while its role will be important in the education sector by reducing costs and improving the desire for education.

The list of beneficiary sectors also includes the environment sector, which will increase afforestation rates and assist in the cultivation of plants that are more suitable for environmental preservation. Artificial intelligence in the traffic sector will develop preventive mechanisms to reduce congestion and develop a more efficient traffic policy to save 50% of the annual cost.

The global market value based on the revolutionary application of service efficiency mechanisms based on artificial intelligence applications will reach US $ 15.7 trillion (AED 905.4 trillion) in 2030, according to specialized international studies.
