6 new projects in the Egyptian petrochemical sector with investments of $ 2 billion

 Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq al-Mulla announced the establishment of six new projects in the petrochemical sector to be implemented with investments of $ 2 billion, describing these projects as a strong addition to the sector. He added that the oil sector is working to develop its investments as a vital target, based on its distinguished economic revenues, providing basic raw materials for the local market and its ability to increase employment opportunities with the growth of its production rings aimed at manufacturing final products needed by the Egyptian market. Al-Mulla said, during the chairmanship of the General Assembly of the Egyptian Holding Company for Petrochemicals to approve the results of the financial year 2017/2018, the discovery and development projects of natural gas fields that are bearing fruit now give strong payments to the Egyptian petrochemical industry and open new horizons for investment in this vital industry, For the oil wealth and give a higher return on investment, noting that the development and improvement of the petrochemical system and one of the main axes of the national project to turn Egypt into a regional energy center.
