$64.5 billion in UAE investments in US Treasury bonds

The UAE’s holdings of US Treasury bonds decreased to $64.5 billion in February 2023, compared to $64.9 billion for January, a decrease of $400 million.
Japan maintained its lead in the list of countries with the most US Treasury bonds with $1.081 trillion, China came second with $848.8 billion, then the United Kingdom with $643 billion, while Belgium came fourth with $330.9 billion, followed by Luxembourg with $327 billion. The total volume of US Treasury bonds in February was $7.343 trillion.
In the Arab world, Saudi Arabia ranked first in US Treasury bond investments with $111.7 billion at the end of last February (ranked 17th in the world); It was followed by the UAE, with investments amounting to $64.5 billion (ranked 22nd in the world), Iraq, with investments of $40.7 billion (ranked 29th in the world), then Kuwait, with $39.1 billion, and ranked 32nd globally.
