Khalid Abaalkhil, spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Labor and Social Development and the Human Resources Development Fund (HEDAF), said that 8,929 Saudis and Saudis have registered at the “Free Action” portal since the program was launched on 20 Muharram last year through the program’s portal at https: // freelance .sa, pointing out that the free work document was issued to 4061 practitioners and practicing for self-employment.
Abaalkhil revealed that Hadaf contributes to the payment of a share of the value of the contribution of the General Organization for Social Insurance on behalf of the practitioner of joint work in the program, in order to provide social protection for the self-employed (male and female) in the Kingdom.
He pointed out that the Fund supports the self-employed to pay the equivalent of a share of the social insurance contribution to those who have a free work permit, paid directly to the General Organization for Social Insurance monthly, through the contribution of “target” to pay the amount of 540 riyals per month for the first year and 360 riyals Per month for the second year, it is useful that the beneficiary’s support period is up to 24 months from the date of voluntary participation in social insurance.
