Abu Dhabi, August 18, International gold prices rose slightly during today’s trading, after declining over the past three sessions, while most other precious metals declined.
According to global market data, the prices of the yellow metal rose in spot transactions by 0.12%, or the equivalent of $2.15, to $1,767.61 per ounce, by 09:14 AM UAE time.
And gold futures contracts for December delivery rose by 0.05%, equivalent to $1.05, to reach $1,777.8 an ounce.
In terms of other precious metals, platinum fell 0.48% to $916.45, silver fell 0.52% to $19.63 an ounce, while palladium rose 0.04% to $2137.52.
