Tony West praised the improvement of the investment climate in Egypt and the facilitation offered by the government to companies engaged in the field of participatory transport through investment laws and regulation of land transport services for passengers using information technology.
He explained that Ober’s keenness to expand its activities in Egypt comes within the framework of the attractive environment for investment. The company has in the last two years opened the Ober Center for Excellence Service in Cairo, the first in the Middle East, And contributed to the provision of 600 jobs in 2017, and training the staff of the center on various skills to develop their performance, and then the company chose Cairo to be the first city in the world launch of its new service, “Ober Bus” in 2018
