Oleans Bernstein opens headquarters in Dubai

U.S. global firm Ulians Bernstein, which has $665 billion in assets under management, has been granted a Category 4 license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority and will be based in the Dubai International Financial Center for expansion in the Middle East.
It will be chaired by the Managing Director of Enterprises Middle East, Jean-Paul Hobeika, who has been appointed as Senior Executive Officer. He is supported by Edward Van Ness, Head of Sales Brokerage Middle East and Africa.
Willem van Gijzen, Head of CEMEA Institutions, said that the Middle East has been an important region for Ullans Bernstein for a number of years. He believes that by opening an office in the Dubai International Financial Center, the company can move to its next stage, as this allows it to improve its ability to serve customers through spatial proximity, in addition to seizing important market opportunities.
