Completion of 1941 buildings in Dubai during 2022

Data issued by Dubai Municipality and published by the Dubai Statistics Center indicated that the number of completed buildings in the Emirate of Dubai during the year 2022 reached 1941 buildings, compared to 2237 buildings during 2021, with a decline of 13.2%.

Private villas accounted for the largest share of completed new buildings at a rate of 64.6% with 1254 buildings, then investment villas second with 13.7% equivalent to 265 buildings, multi-storey buildings came in third place with 191 buildings equivalent to 9.8%, and public buildings fourth with 131 buildings with a percentage. 6.7%, while industrial buildings came in fifth place, with a rate of 5.2%, with the completion of 100 buildings.

In detail, the fourth quarter of last year recorded the completion of 524 buildings, as the number of completed buildings in October reached 157, and rose to 204 buildings in November, and in December, 163 buildings were completed.

The total value of buildings completed in Dubai during the 9 months of 2022 recorded about 11.8 billion dirhams, resulting from the completion of 1417 buildings.
