Federation of Chambers of Commerce confirms improvement of non-oil private sector growth

The Federation of Chambers of Commerce in the UAE confirmed the growth of the non-oil private sector in the UAE during the current year on the impact of stimulus packages.
The General Secretariat of the Federation of Chambers said that the General Secretariat, in coordination with the chambers of commerce members, is aimed at stimulating private sector enterprises to participate in international investment opportunities by opening a number of channels of communication related to foreign markets through their participation in economic partnership forums, trade fairs and joint business councils To promote value-added economic partnerships at the regional and global levels.
This came during the first joint meeting held recently between the General Secretariat of the Federation of Chambers and the Directors of the Chambers of Commerce members headed by Hamid Mohammed bin Salem in the presence of directors of chambers of commerce members to discuss developments in the business sector during the first quarter of this year and on the investment incentives that will be included in the Foreign Investment Law and the role of the Committee Economic problems in chambers of commerce.
Bin Salem said the private sector stimulus package, which focuses on small and medium-sized enterprises, export growth and other sectors, will contribute to the growth of the private sector. It is expected that the growth of the non-oil private sector will improve in 2019.
“All these factors will have a positive impact on improving growth levels, which will encourage private sector companies to invest in local, regional and international opportunities,” he said.
The meeting reviewed a number of programs for the UAE Chambers during the second quarter of 2019, especially the 8th edition of the Arab and Chinese businessmen conference which will be held in Tunisia on April 2-3 and the 12th meeting of the Arab-Russian Business Council and its accompanying exhibition, as well as the meeting of the UAE- During the period 8-10 April next, the Kazan Economic Summit in Tatarstan and the Syrian Business Conference in its third edition, which is scheduled to be held in Damascus next June, in addition to the membership of the Union of Chambers in the Arab-Brazilian Chamber, the Arab-Irish Chamber, Mark and global developments related to business Bmahls United Arab Emirates, Singapore.
