Cooperation agreement between Arab and Arab businessmen for satellite broadcasting

The Arab Businessmen Union signed a cooperation agreement with the Arab Satellite Broadcasting Authority on the sidelines of the 16th Arab Businessmen Forum recently held at King Hussein Bin Talal Palace in the Dead Sea area.

The agreement aims to organize joint scientific meetings whether conferences, seminars or workshops on topics and issues of common interest between the two federations and the exchange of visits, publications and periodic publications issued by the two parties on a regular basis and following up the implementation of recommendations and proposals issued by the meetings, conferences and seminars organized by the two federations with governments and Arab officials.

The agreement, which was signed by the President of the Federation Hamdi Tabbaa and the Secretary General of the Association, Iyad Abukrama, aims at cooperation and participation of the two parties in exchange of experiences and drawing up future plans and visions, leading to opening markets, facilitating trade exchange between the Arab countries and enhancing infrastructure, especially transport and communication networks. .

It also aims at expanding the activities of the private sector and Arab businessmen and opening new horizons for Arab trade and facilitating the linking of Arab countries through a land, sea and air link network and adopting joint strategies in such central fields as food security, transport, electronic Arab trade, investment facilitation and customs clearance transactions.

The Amman-based Arab Businessmen’s Union was established in 1997 as an independent, non-profit, Arab non-governmental organization with membership, associations and associations of businessmen in Arab countries.

The member union of the Council of Arab Economic Unity participates in joint Arab meetings, conferences and symposia related to its activities. He is a member of the Higher Coordinating Committee for joint Arab action, which emanates from the League of Arab States.

Arab Satellite Broadcasting is an Arab-based international organization based in Amman under the umbrella of the League of Arab States to consolidate and integrate its objectives with specialized Arab federations and organizations to achieve partnership in the service of joint Arab action and the development and rehabilitation of media cadres.
