High prices of oil derivatives during the current week of March

The prices of international oil derivatives increased significantly during the second week of March, particularly gasoline, according to data released by the Ministry of Energy, Wealth and Mineral Resources on Monday.
According to the data, the price of gasoline octane 95 rose by 5.2 percent from $ 606.3 per tonne in the first week to $ 638.1 in the second week, and the price of octane gasoline rose from $ 588.48 per ton to $ 620.77, a rise of 5.5 percent.
Diesel prices were slightly lower in the second week compared to the first week of this month. Diesel prices fell from $ 603.5 per ton to $ 3,600, down by 0.5 per cent. In contrast, the price of kerosene rose slightly by 0.2 per cent from $ 633.77 per tonne And the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for March continued to reach $ 512.5 per tonne.
The second week of March witnessed a significant rise in the price of Brent crude by 2.6 percent compared to the first week, rising from $ 2.64 a barrel to $ 65.99.
