Dollar rises to the highest level globally

The dollar rose Tuesday in the US and global markets against a basket of major and minor currencies.
The Dollar Index rose more than 0.4 percent to trade at 95.47 points, the opening level of 95.77 points, the highest at 95.55 points since August 24 and the lowest at 95.70 points.
