The total real estate financing granted by companies amounted to about EGP 7.27 billion during the period from January to June 2022, compared to EGP 3.08 billion during the same period in 2021, with a growth rate of 135.5%.
According to the monthly performance report for non-bank financial activities, issued by the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority, the total real estate financing granted by companies during the month of June 2022 recorded about 2 billion pounds, compared to 754 million pounds, an increase of 165.8 percent.
The total value of real estate refinancing recorded 745 million pounds at the end of June 2022, compared to 975 million pounds at the end of June 2021, a decline of 23.6%.
The number of real estate financing contracts reached 5.5 thousand contracts during the first 6 months of 2022, compared to 2.9 thousand contracts during the corresponding period last year, an increase of 87.5%.
