Oil prices rose today with expectations that the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and independent producers will extend the agreement to cut production for the rest of the year and possibly also 2019.
US crude futures rose 25 cents to $ 64.63 a barrel by 0.4 percent from the last close.
Brent crude futures rose 23 cents, or 0.3 percent, to $ 69.76 a barrel.
