The newspapers pointed to the participation of the UAE and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman in its celebrations of its National Day, as an embodiment of the brotherly relations and the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, which are increasingly developing and solid under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Sultan of Oman.

The newspapers also dealt with the UAE’s achievements and its pioneering national initiatives in the field of empowering women and actively involving them in the consolidation of security and peace, in the belief that achieving security is a pillar for moving forward, whose impact and fruitfulness increases when women participate in them in a leading role, as well as their keenness to build national, regional and global capacities in The field of women, peace and security, and to contribute to creating an enabling environment for women.

The newspapers also highlighted in their editorials the launch of the “Sheikh Zayed Festival”, which is a message of love to the world through which the UAE emphasizes the importance of building bridges of convergence and the ability of culture and heritage to bridge the distances between everyone.

For its part, under the title “Oman.. Dearest Neighbors,” Al-Ittihad newspaper wrote in its editorial, “We rejoice with our people in Oman, document our love, and develop our partnership. The UAE and Oman are the dearest neighbors, linked by history, culture, customs and traditions, united by the values ​​of brotherhood, giving and tolerance, and the two countries look towards The future aspires to achieve more development and prosperity, build on existing achievements, and consolidate cooperation and the ever-growing bilateral relations under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said, Sultan of Oman.

The newspaper said, “Oman celebrates its 52nd National Day, in light of a blessed renaissance march that has achieved a lot and made the Sultanate an economic model with exceptional ingredients to launch a new development era, within the framework of the future vision of “Oman 2040”, with the aim of improving government performance, increasing production, developing partnerships and mechanisms and national action programs, and opened the door wide for young people to be active partners in their country’s march and achieve economic prosperity.”

Your Feast is Our Feast,” the newspaper “Al Khaleej” wrote in its editorial, “When we talk about the Emirati-Omani relations, the depth of the common history with all it bears of fraternal manifestations, one social relations, one language, religion, destiny, values, culture and one geography, In addition to partnership in various fields, it is heading towards broad horizons of cooperation that is in the interest of the two peoples and countries.”

The newspaper said, “On the 52nd anniversary of the Sultanate, the UAE considers this holiday its feast, because it embodies the meanings of the true brotherhood between the two countries, about which His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, said: “The UAE and Oman are rooted brotherhood, and extended relations are not prolonged by days.” Nothing but firmness, strength and love.” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” said, “Oman is from us and we are among them, our brothers, our brothers and our support.”

She added, “The momentum of relations between the two countries and peoples has continued since the first historic meeting, between the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed, may God have mercy on him, in 1968 and then in 1971; Several cultural and educational agreements were signed, in addition to mutual visits between officials of the two countries, leading to the historic visit of His Highness the President of the State, may God protect him, to the Sultanate on September 27, and his meeting with his brother Sultan Haitham bin Tariq bin Taymour Al Said, which culminated in the signing of 16 agreements and memoranda of understanding for joint cooperation, which include a wide range of areas that enhance the solid relations between the two countries; It includes cooperation in the fields of agriculture, culture, media, railways, education, scientific research and financial markets.”

And she continued, “The UAE is also one of the most important trading partners of the Sultanate of Oman. The volume of non-oil trade exchange between the two countries during the past year amounted to 46 billion dirhams, a growth of 9 percent compared to 2020, and the average growth in the two countries’ trade during the last five years was about 10 percent. And economic relations are heading towards further expansion and growth, after signing recent agreements and memoranda of understanding.”

She pointed out that during the reign of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultanate is making great strides on the road to strengthening its development, economic and political renaissance, confirming its position as a modern state that creates a secure future for the Omani citizen, and participates in shaping the Gulf and Arab future, in a way that enhances joint Arab action. The last step in this regard was the launch of the National Program for Financial Sustainability and the Development of the Financial Sector. And issuing directives to implement several development projects, in addition to the projects approved in the tenth five-year plan, in addition to a series of decisions that facilitate the lives of Omani citizens.
