The UAE is the first in the world in terms of mobile internet speed

The UAE ranked first globally in mobile internet speed for the month of January 2023 with a speed of 161.15 Mbps, followed by Qatar with 155.51 Mbps, then Norway with an average mobile internet speed of 136.08 Mbps.

As for fixed-line broadband, the UAE ranked first regionally and fourth globally in terms of internet speed for the same time period, with an average of 207.41 megabits per second, while Singapore, Chile and China ranked first in the list with averages of 234.55, 224.84, and 211.34. megabits per second respectively

The UAE ranked first globally in mobile internet speed for the month of January 2023 with a speed of 161.15 Mbps, followed by Qatar with 155.51 Mbps, then Norway with an average mobile internet speed of 136.08 Mbps.

As for fixed-line broadband, the UAE ranked first regionally and fourth globally in terms of internet speed for the same time period, with an average of 207.41 megabits per second, while Singapore, Chile and China ranked first in the list with averages of 234.55, 224.84, and 211.34. megabits per second respectively.

Dubai ranked first in the world in terms of mobile Internet speed for the month of January 2023, with an impressive average speed of 204.37 megabits per second, according to the “Speed Test” classification from the company “Ookla” to test and analyze the download and transmission speed of data.

With regard to fixed-line broadband internet speeds for the month of January 2023, and based on the recent Speedtest data that included 200 cities in 179 countries around the world, Abu Dhabi ranked first regionally and second globally, with an average speed of 247.27 Mbps, behind Beijing, which topped the list with a speed of 277.57. Mbps, while Shanghai ranked third at 236.01 Mbps, Bangkok fourth at 228.29, and New York fifth at 224.86 Mbps.
