The UAE ranked among the top 25 countries for corporate headquarters around the world, according to a ranking issued by the “Insider Monkey” economic website. The site said: The UAE, which came in the 12th place, is the country that international companies resort to, to establish their headquarters in the Middle East, such as Amazon, Microsoft, Apple and Meta Platforms.

The UAE actively implements business-friendly policies and has a talented expat community from all over the world. Moreover, it has one of the lowest corporate tax rates in the world, when applied this year; Where it will be only 9%.

The ranking of the site is based on a number of criteria to determine the best countries for corporate headquarters, including low tax rates, the proportion of educated workforce, skills and talents in the population, favorable laws and regulations for companies, global openness to business, and visa and residency systems.

Germany ranked first as the best country for setting up companies, followed by Australia, Canada, Switzerland and Denmark in the top five. Sweden ranked sixth, followed by the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, New Zealand and Japan, and the UAE ranked 12th.

The UAE was followed in the ranking by Norway and Austria, while the United States ranked 15th, followed by Finland, France, Singapore and Italy.

Belgium ranked 20th, followed by Taiwan, Spain, Portugal, South Korea and finally Ireland.
