UAE tops the quality of projects in the GCC

The UAE was the only annual awards ceremony to evaluate projects in the region. With eight awards to the GCC States, Oman has five winning projects, followed by Kuwait with four projects and Saudi Arabia with two projects. The highest quality projects in the Gulf region were announced during the Med 2018 Project Quality Awards Which was recently held in collaboration with Al Mashreq at the Westin Dubai Marina and Marina Beach, in the presence of key stakeholders in the enterprise sector.

The winning projects in the UAE are part of the $ 36.8 billion worth of projects completed in the UAE in 2017, according to the latest data from Med Projects.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi, Department of Culture and Tourism, nominated by Boro Habold Engineering Consultants Limited, received the most prestigious award by winning the MEED Project Quality Award of the Year in collaboration with Mashreq. The team responsible for implementing the project celebrated a double win with the award of the year’s project in the field of culture, heritage and heritage in the GCC.

The Saudi German Hospital for Petrify Medical House won the GCC Healthcare Project of the Year award and was nominated by IHCC, while Solid Wood Industries received the Industrial Project of the Year Award in GCC countries Gulf Cooperation Council.

The award was awarded to Meed’s Creative Editor for Dubai Opera, a project for Emaar, nominated by the Contractors Union
