Tomorrow, the UAE will join the world in celebrating the “International Teachers’ Day”, which falls on the fifth of October each year, in appreciation of their efforts and their pivotal role in promoting the values of innovation and creativity that start from the early stages of education.
Teachers in the UAE are receiving great attention and appreciation in recognition of their role in the renaissance of society by creating a conscious and educated generation that carries the highest moral values and human principles.
During the first 50 years of the state union, the number of teachers in public education in the UAE jumped from 5530 teachers in 1975 to reach 10,020 teachers in 2020 with an increase between the two years, reaching 1853%.
