The World Tourism Bourse kicked off in the German capital Berlin with the participation of the UAE and more than 10,000 exhibitors from more than 180 countries. It is expected that the number of visitors to this year’s exhibition will exceed 250 thousand visitors from 6 to 10 March.
During his tour of the UAE pavilion, HE Ali Abdullah Al Ahmad, UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, said that the income of tourism represents about 13% of the UAE’s national product, pointing out that the choice of tourists to the UAE is proof of the attractiveness of the UAE. He pointed out that the State has established many long-term tourism projects, which increase the demand of tourists, both new and even those who have already visited the UAE .. He said that tourism is a true mirror of the state and this is what we clearly see in the pavilion of the UAE.
