UAE applies best quality policies aimed at Empowering citizens and attracting Talents

The Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation said that the UAE is implementing a set of specific policies and programs related to the future of employment  aimed at empowering citizens and attracting talent, notably programs aimed at providing the citizen with skills that meet the needs and requirements of the future labour market and in line with the national employment strategy aimed at enhancing capacity building Until 2031.

“The UAE is making the future of the business by investing in new and sustainable economic sectors and applying a range of measures to attract and attract highly skilled workers, thereby enhancing the UAE’s position as a magnet for these workers worldwide,” he said.

He also stressed the importance of continuing to support the Abu Dhabi Dialogue, which has become one of the most important international tracks on labour issues, stressing the importance of developing partnerships under the umbrella of “Dialogue” to help deal with the challenges of the future of work.

For his part, Shulananda Pereira, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications, Foreign Employment and Sports of the Republic of Sri Lanka, praised the efforts of the UAE to host this important meeting, stressing the importance of exchanging ideas during the discussions, which contributes to addressing the relevant challenges.

The Forum witnessed three working sessions. The session reviewed the main findings of the World Commission on the Future of Work, particularly with regard to the development of the human element as a pillar of economic and social development.

“It is important for the Abu Dhabi Dialogue countries to focus on joint action in moving towards a better future for work that is more sustainable and ready to face any challenges,” he said.

He stressed the importance of working towards enhancing the capabilities of individuals and enabling them to adapt to the changes and changes in the future labor market, including investment in their skills and social protection.

The second session called for the integration of skills investment and labour institutions into the national policies of countries. The third session, presented by Michel Leighton, head of ILO Labor Migration Branch, reviewed ways of cooperation in the future of work on the agenda of the Abu Dhabi dialogue on the subject of governance of labour mobility.

The two-day “Business Future” forum, which will discuss the future of the business and its challenges, is being held in Dubai.

The Abu Dhabi Dialogue, launched under the UAE initiative in 2008, is a voluntary government track that serves as a platform for dialogue between sending and receiving countries in Asia to identify best practices for the transfer of temporary contractual employment between these countries and to promote mutual development benefits
