Etihad Airways celebrates 15 years of service between Abu Dhabi and Manama

Etihad Airways has celebrated its 15th anniversary between Abu Dhabi and Manama with more than 2.5 million passengers flying between the two capitals since its inception in August 2004. The airline operates 28 weekly flights and transports about 200,000 passengers annually to and from Bahrain.
This year, Etihad Airways has signed a code partnership agreement with Gulf Air, the national airline of the Kingdom of Bahrain, each of which places its code on flights operated by the other airline between Abu Dhabi and Manama, further enhancing the services provided by both airlines.
Etihad Aviation Group Chief Commercial Officer said Bahrain is of great importance to Etihad Airways, thanks to the strong ties, mutual history and common culture of the two brotherly countries.
