Shuaib Al-Najjar, General Manager of Etihad Airways Operations at Abu Dhabi International Airport, announced the operation of additional non-scheduled flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the current Hajj season to meet the large numbers of pilgrims.

He added that the carrier has regular scheduled flights to three destinations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh. The carrier uses its Boeing B787 aircraft for its flights to the Kingdom, in addition to operating special flights to Jeddah that continued until June 22 to provide a comfortable travel option.
