“Petroleum Construction” provides 8% of the operating budget in two years through innovative projects

The National Petroleum Construction Company, a subsidiary of Industries Abu Dhabi, has revealed that the company’s innovative projects have achieved a financial saving of 8% of the company’s operating budget over the past two years.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Rashid Al Hamli, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Industries, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Construction Company, Eng. Aqeel Abdullah Madi, Deputy Chairman of National Petroleum Construction Company, Ahmed Saqr Al Suwaidi, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC Marine and officials of Saudi Aramco.
“In 2017, we started the Innovation Committee, which contributed positively to spreading the culture of innovation and creativity in the various departments and departments of the company. The company achieved thanks to innovative projects and ideas, saving millions of dirhams,” he said, adding that the company has adopted 18 innovative projects over the past year.
Al-Dhahiri pointed out that the National Petroleum Construction Company is adopting an innovation plan that includes three main axes aimed at increasing the operational efficiency, increasing production capacity and improving the competitiveness of the company, stressing that the company encourages its employees to submit proposals and innovative projects in several categories including standards, efficiency, construction and installation Diversification, Sustainability, Human Element. The company has also launched a special website for the innovation plan to facilitate the communication between different departments, departments and employees of the company, calling on all employees to share their ideas and suggestions.
Al-Dhahri revealed that during the past year, the Innovation Committee received 375 proposals and more than 48 innovative projects, stressing that this number reflects the commitment of the company’s employees and management to make innovation a strategic and sole option for developing all its operations.
He explained that the Committee has honored the owners of more than 88 proposals and about 18 projects while 18 projects were presented at the Innovation Exhibition for guests.
At the end of the ceremony, Engineer Al Dhahri stressed that the company will continue to work towards spreading the culture of innovation and creativity to all departments and departments of the company. He called on all employees of the company to interact with these initiatives and provide suggestions that will improve and improve the efficiency and work environment in the company which will enhance its position locally, regionally and globally.
