The Egyptian Stock Exchange gains 26.4 billion pounds in a week

The Egyptian Stock Exchange recorded market gains amounting to 26.4 billion pounds during the trading week ended, to close the market capitalization of shares listed in the market at 1.075.5 trillion pounds, compared to 1.049.1 trillion pounds, a growth rate of 2.5%.
The main market index (EGX30) increased by 1.77% to record 16,709.28 points, and the index of small and medium-sized companies (EGX70) increased by 4.93% to reach 2945.58 points, and the broader (EGX100) index added about 4.43% to value, to close at 4420.09 points.
The total trading value on the Egyptian Stock Exchange amounted to about 20.6 billion pounds, while the volume of trading amounted to about 2.549 billion papers executed on 345 thousand transactions, during last week’s transactions.
