Jordanian Customs introduces a clearance unit for cargo of entry and exit

The Jordanian Customs Department will develop, within the framework of future strategic plans, a clearance unit for goods entering and leaving the country, and in coordination with the concerned ministries and institutions to increase the number of departments concerned with customs work for the actual implementation of the same window.
As the Department will work in coordination with the United Nations program to establish a special unit for containers and the development of offices and lounges for passengers arriving and departing to the passenger section in conjunction with the security services.
The Director General of Customs, Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Rahamna called for coordination between all the agencies with the expected increase in the volume of trade exchange between Jordan and Iraq. He stressed the importance of providing the necessary facilities for the smooth flow of passengers and goods between the two countries. Specialized training courses and encouraging employees to submit proposals and initiatives to develop the work and activate the risk system and improve the efficiency of supervision.
