A Kuwaiti government source confirmed that the members of the new government who were appointed the day before yesterday, Wednesday, have put their resignations at the disposal of Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas reported yesterday.
This comes after the state of popular and parliamentary rejection that accompanied the announcement of the new cabinet formation, and the apology of MP Ammar Al-Ajmi for not entering the government as an “analyst” minister.
The Kuwaiti constitution stipulates in Article 56 that (the appointment of ministers shall be from members of the National Assembly and from others), and accordingly, an essential condition in the formation of the government has been lost, which makes it impossible to form a government.
