Saudi Arabia adopts a record budget of 1.106 trillion riyals

The Saudi Council of Ministers, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, adopted the budget for the new fiscal year 1440/1441 as the largest budget in the history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at supporting economic growth in the Kingdom, And achieve sustainability and financial stability, within the objectives of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
The expenditure in this budget (one trillion and six billion riyals) is seven percent higher than expected by the end of the fiscal year 2018, and the revenues (nine hundred and seventy-five billion riyals) are 9 percent higher than expected by the end of 2018, This budget is a continuation of the government policy by focusing on the basic services of citizens and the development of government services.
King Salman said: “My first interest is to continue working towards achieving comprehensive development in all regions of the Kingdom and in all fields. Your government is continuing to achieve this, using God Almighty and relying on it. The ministers and officials quickly addressed the programs and projects.
