The Saudi National Electricity Transmission Company has announced the completion of the manufacturing of the first batch of power transformers entirely in Saudi Arabia by the Saudi Power Transformer Factory, where the manufacture of such transformers is an important step towards the localization of the power industry in Saudi Arabia.
Nine transformers of 67 MVA, which will be installed to support the high voltage electrical network system, were manufactured during the ceremony organized by the Saudi Power Transformers Company in cooperation with the National Electricity Transmission Company in Dammam at the factory owned by the Saudi Power Transformers Company Electrical Industries Company.
These transformers are the first installment in a purchase contract from the Saudi Power Transformer Plant which is one of the most important terms of the partnership agreement with the plant, which was concluded through the “Strategic Partnerships” program of the National Electricity Transmission Company which aims to transfer the relationship between the company and the major manufacturers to a strategic relationship Of the Kingdom is a major hub in the high and high voltage industries in the Middle East.
