Arab Banking Conference opens in Beirut

The Arab Banking Conference 2019, under the theme of “Economic Reforms and Governance”, opened today in Beirut, Lebanon, in cooperation with the Association of Banks in Lebanon.
The conference was attended by Arab and international businessmen and heads of banking groups from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, U.A.E, Kuwait, Egypt, Libya and Sudan as well as the governors of Arab central banks and Lebanese banking companies from various Arab countries, as well as financial and international institutions and Arab and foreign ambassadors. .
The opening ceremony of the conference recognized the Governor of the Banque du Liban Riad Salameh as Governor of the year 2019 as the best Arab bank governor in recognition of his distinguished efforts in developing the banking industry, both in Lebanon and in the Arab world.
