Emirates Crescent inaugurates housing units for flood victims in the Malaysian state of Pahang, consisting of 123 housing units with various service facilities

In the presence of Abdullah Ri’ayat Al-Din Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, King of Malaysia, the Emirates Red Crescent Authority inaugurated the first phase of the housing units that it built for the benefit of those affected by the floods that hit the Malaysian state of Pahang last year. Within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, representative of the ruler in the Al Dhafra region, head of the Red Crescent Authority.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dato’ Sri Rushdi Ismail, Prime Minister of Pahang State, Khalid Ghanem Al Ghaith, UAE Ambassador to Malaysia, and the Red Crescent delegation headed by Dr. Hamdan Muslim Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors, in the presence of a number of Malaysian officials.
Al Ghaith stressed that the housing project implemented by the Emirates Red Crescent is part of the global humanitarian responsibility of the United Arab Emirates under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and the close supervision and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
