The Director of the Earthquake Department confirms that earthquakes cannot be predicted before they occur, saying: So far, scientists have not come up with a reliable method or modern technological or technical tool to predict earthquakes before they occur, and everyone who predicts an earthquake in certain areas is nothing but coincidences and jurisprudence.

He adds that there are ongoing studies by scientists to study the Earth’s interior, which may help scientists devise a method or technology that can predict the occurrence of earthquakes.
