Construction of Phase 4 of Mohammed Bin Rashid Solar Power Complex

The construction of the fourth phase of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Power Complex is completed and will be completed with the construction of the world’s tallest solar power tower at 260 meters, according to the schedule for this phase of the mega project. Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), inspected the construction works.

Saeed Al Tayer was accompanied by Eng. Walid Salman, Executive Vice President for Business Development and Excellence, and Eng. Jamal Shahin Al Hammadi, Vice President – Clean and diversified energy and a number of officials of the Authority.
During the tour, explanations were given by Abdulhamid Al Muhaidib, General Manager of Noor Energy 1, which includes the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, the Silk Road Fund owned by the Chinese government and Aqua Power of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Muhaidib confirmed the completion of the basic concrete, which contains approximately 1,300 tons of iron, which is about 20% of the iron in the tower of Eiffel in Paris ..
