Jordan and Morocco discuss trade and investment cooperation

A delegation of Moroccan parliamentarians visited Jordan on Monday with members of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, the mechanisms of developing bilateral trade and investment relations and removing obstacles.

During the meeting the two sides stressed the need to enhance communication between the private sector institutions to identify the economic opportunities available to both countries and exploit them to serve their common interests.

The two sides stressed the importance of addressing any obstacles and challenges to the promotion of trade exchanges, which are still less than ambitions, despite the depth of relations between Jordan and Morocco, which laid the bases of the leaders of the two countries, pointing to their uniqueness and privacy based on mutual respect.

The two sides  reviewed the opportunities of economic cooperation among the two countries and the advantages available to both sides in many sectors of trade, especially tourism, food industries, renewable energy, telecommunications, information technology and some mining industries.
