Discussion of cooperation between “Awqaf” and “Islamic Affairs” in Saudi Arabia

Dr. Muhammad Matar Salem Al-Kaabi, Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, and Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman Al Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, discussed strengthening cooperation in religious affairs and consolidating the sublime values of Islam.

Dr. Al-Kaabi appreciated the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to show the bright face of our true Islamic religion, stressing the depth of the relationship, the unity of destiny and the deep-rooted historical ties that bind the two brotherly peoples. During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation and continuous coordination between the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in the Kingdom, and enhancing communication between them, in service of common goals, and laying the foundations for cooperation, matching visions and exchanging experiences, in a way that contributes to developing the work system in the two institutions on the basis of Sober scientific and sophisticated models, which translate the aspirations of the wise leadership in the two countries, which affirm the need to reflect the civilized face of our Islamic religion by spreading noble human values, and consolidating our custom and authentic traditions in accepting the other and respecting his culture.
