Production of high quality materials started in the joint venture between SABIC and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation in Jubail, Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced the successful start-up of the trial of the manufacturers of methyl methacrylate monomer and polyethyl methacrylate and the start of commercial production in the manufacturers in Jubail, Eastern Saudi Arabia.

The production capacity of the Methyl Methacrylate Monomer plant is 250 thousand metric tons annually, while the production capacity of the plant (Poly Methyl Methacrylate) 40 thousand metric tons per year, and these new high value products will diversify materials used in industrial complexes, allowing To expand and diversify the industrial sector in the Kingdom, as well as to provide new global opportunities in manufacturing industries such as construction, construction, automobiles, electronics, medical technologies and electrical appliances.
