Abu Dhabi, June 17, The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center announced the launch of the eleventh edition of the “Little Cultural Guide” programme. Children and young people of the country.

This program is an embodiment of the center’s pioneering role in community service, and in application of its most important values, “We work with patriotism stemming from the authentic heritage of the Emirates,” and falls within the framework of its efforts to support the role of the family and society in promoting moral education for the younger generations.

The center called on male and female school students to register for the program, which will be held in two phases. The first phase is allocated to young people from the ninth to the eleventh grade, and it will take place from July 17 to July 27. The period from 7 to 17 August, and those wishing to register through the center’s website www.szgmc.gov.ae, noting that the last date for registration is Monday, 3 July.

In this context, His Excellency Dr. Yousef Al-Obaidly, Director General of the Center, said: “The launch of the new session of the “Little Cultural Guide” program is a continuation of the successes achieved by the program in its previous sessions and falls within the center’s responsibility in preparing a leadership generation capable of shouldering responsibility, familiar with the center’s mission of In tolerance and respect for the other, emanating from the exploits of the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – may God rest his soul – “.

He added that this program embodies the keenness of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center to launch and adopt initiatives, projects and programs aimed at developing Emirati human cadres of all ages, and raising a generation endowed with good morals, open to the rest of the cultures of the world, believing in the values of tolerance, coexistence and brotherhood, which embody the center’s message. .

Regarding the program, Amina Al Hammadi, Acting Director of Worshipers and Visitors Services Department at the Center, said: “The training program “The Little Cultural Guide” is based on an innovative educational methodology that works to hone the talents and energies of young people through an integrated system of various training and workshop elements that arouse their passion to present Cultural tours at an early age, and informing them of the basic experiences and skills needed in this field, in addition to introducing them and training them on the basics and standards of performing cultural tours, and the center’s messages in reviving the arts of Islamic civilization, as a cultural heritage passed down from generations. Through this program, the center works to prepare The new youth will be the best ambassadors for the United Arab Emirates, reflecting its lofty mission based on establishing the values of tolerance and brotherhood among the peoples of the world.

It is noteworthy that the number of graduates of the “Little Cultural Guide” has reached more than 410 graduates since its inception. And the Center’s messages of tolerance and coexistence, which the UAE society has built upon, raise awareness among them of their role as ambassadors who honorably represent their country, and open future horizons for them to practice the profession of cultural tour specialist.
