Meet the winners of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics

Alan Aspect, John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger have joined the list of Nobel laureates in physics for the year 2022, making the order of their award in that long list of Nobel laureates is the 116th.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences decided to award the 2022 Nobel Prize in Physics to Alan Aspect, John F. Clauser and Anton Zeilinger, to share the prize.

Anton Zeilinger received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2022 for research in entangled quantum states, and his research group demonstrated a phenomenon called quantum teleportation, which makes it possible to transfer a quantum state from one particle to another over a distance.
