The Saudi Electricity and Double-Sensing Regulatory Authority and the King Abdullah Center for Petroleum Studies and Research signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the studies of the electricity, dual-production and water sector in the Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that the strategic partnership with the King Abdullah Center for Petroleum Studies and Research comes within the framework of the work plan and responsibilities of the Authority which is to ensure that the supply of electricity and desalination products and regional cooling industries, water services and sewage treatment, which reach consumers in the Kingdom adequately and reliably With high quality and fair prices.
And that the agreement with the Electricity and Cogeneration Regulatory Authority will support the production of influential research that will help the Kingdom to meet the challenges arising from the ongoing transformations in the global energy system and promote the contribution of the water, electricity and dual-production sectors to the growth of the Saudi economy.
The MoU aims to identify areas and technical topics that the two parties intend to cooperate in addition to promoting collaborative research programs, joint workshops and exchange of researches in a way that contributes to the advancement of them in the fields of energy economics, technologies and the environment.
