UAE Sign Bilateral agreements with Mali for mutual economic benefit

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, today signed a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the UAE and the Republic of Mali in the fields of economy, trade, defense and culture.

The agreements and the memorandums of understanding signed by the UAE included an economic, trade and technical cooperation agreement signed by UAE Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed al-Mansouri and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the military field signed by Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohammed bin Ahmad al-Bawardi and a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the cultural field.

The operational framework of the project financing agreement is expected to create more than 4,300 projects over the next four years, provide about 10,000 job opportunities for young people, and provide a financial and technical framework to support government efforts in the Republic of Mali aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and empowering entrepreneurial projects.
