Dibba Al-Hisn, the coastal city in the Emirate of Sharjah, is witnessing a rich program of celebrations for the 51st Union Day of the UAE, and activities and events will be distributed on Friday, November 25, from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, as a national march will start in front of the Beach Park to the Flag Square in Dibba The fort.
The celebrations will include folk songs, a musical operetta will be shown, national performances and competitions will be held until nine in the evening of that day, in addition to a poetry session and fireworks, and the “Union Day Bazaar”, which includes displaying various products such as popular foods and other competitions and participation from various government departments. .
On this occasion, Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf Al-Naqbi, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Dibba Al-Hisn, said: “Dibba Al-Hisn bears witness to the rich and ancient history of the UAE. This is a good spot whose ancient history is witness to, and the eye of the beholder does not miss the features of calm, beauty and splendor of its mountains.” He added: “Like the agricultural crops that grow in its territory, the love of the homeland grows in the hearts of the residents of Dibba Al-Hisn, which has been a meeting place since ancient times for merchants of India, Sindh and China. Today, the UAE is a meeting place for the peoples of the world, so that history repeats itself in a beautiful, renewed story called the Emirates.
