Hamdan bin Zayed directs the allocation of 20 million dirhams to implement Ramadan programs in Syria

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, directed the allocation of 20 million dirhams to implement Ramadan programs this year in the Syrian Arab Republic.

His Highness ordered the Red Crescent to provide the best services to the Syrian brothers and their needs during the holy month, and to support them in performing the religious rituals, especially in the provinces whose residents face many humanitarian challenges as a result of the devastating earthquake that struck Syria recently.

The authority began to develop an urgent plan to implement the directives of His Highness the President of the Red Crescent Authority, and completed its preparations so that Ramadan programs this year would meet the requirements of the Syrian arena, and fulfill the aspirations of the wise leadership of the country, which attaches great importance to the current humanitarian situation in Syria.

His Excellency Dr. Hamdan Musallam Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Crescent Authority, said that the directives of His Highness the Chairman of the Authority come within the framework of his interest in the humanitarian conditions of the brothers in Syria, and his keenness to alleviate their suffering and improve their conditions in light of the conditions left by the earthquake disaster there, indicating that His Highness is following closely the humanitarian situation in Syria and its direct repercussions on the lives of those affected.

He added that the authority has developed a solid plan to expand the umbrella of the beneficiaries of Ramadan projects “breaking the fast, Eid clothing, zakat al-Fitr and the Ramadan Mir” in Syria, in coordination with the country’s embassy in Damascus, and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization, the main partner of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority in the implementation of its humanitarian programmes, relief operations and projects. development on the Syrian scene.

Al Mazrouei stressed that the authority will spare no effort to implement Ramadan projects in a way that befits the greatness of the holy month, achieves lofty principles and promotes the human and spiritual values that His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan aims for, through his generous directives to support the brotherly Syrian people.
