Sheikh Rashid Bin Saud Al Mualla Business Initiatives has concluded the Umm Al Quwain Innovation Month 2011 with the support of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Vice Chairman of the Executive Council of Umm Al Quwain and Chairman of Sheikh Rashid Bin Saud Al Mualla Business Council, Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, HE Aisha Rashid Laitim, Member of the Federal National Council and HE Hamid Rashid Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Council. Executive Director of Umm Al Quwain, as well as a number of officials and investors in the field of emerging technology companies.
More than 120 entrepreneurs from across the UAE took part in the event, forming 13 companies to create an emerging company. The ideas of these companies were developed in the field of block technology and the use of dron in geometric surveying, vehicle condition sensors, environment and green buildings, Alzheimer ‘s and smart reality applications in online purchasing.
During the period of the event, participants presented a number of innovations to the Rulers Committee, which were formed by the sponsors and sponsors of the event. They included Al Watan Fund, Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund, Young Arab Leaders and the UAE Canadian College in Umm Al Quwain where participants received orientation and training sessions conducted by a number of experts and specialists in the field of entrepreneurship Business and Outlook.
HH Sheikh Saqr Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla congratulated all participants for their success in transforming their ideas into emerging companies during the Umm Al Quwain start-up companies challenge and calling on young people to benefit from the support provided by the UAE under the guidance of the wise leadership to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the UAE and the active participation of the private sector In this area.
He pointed out that Umm Al Quwain has a promising market to embrace innovative ideas and technology companies, calling on entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs to participate in the Challenge of Emerging Companies Umm Al Quwain 2020.
The winners of the Challenge received a qualitative support from Capital One Investment Company to participate in the Young Arab Leaders Entrepreneurship Program as well as advanced business courses from the Continuing Education Center of the UAE-Canada College of Umm Al Quwain.
