Reducing the speed on Dubai-Hatta Street in Masfout to 80 km

The Ajman Police General Command announced a reduction in the legal speed limit on the Dubai-Hatta Road, in the part located in the Masfout and Muzaira’a regions of the Emirate of Ajman, as part of the efforts made to achieve the Ministry of Interior’s strategic goal of enhancing road security.
Lieutenant Colonel Saif Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Traffic and Patrols Department, explained that the legal speed limit plates for the street were changed to 80 km/h instead of 100 km/h, and warning signs were added in the speed reduction zone to alert drivers, according to the best standards and methods adopted in traffic safety.
He stressed that the decision came after a court study, which proved that reducing the speed on the road contributes to reducing traffic accidents, which supports enhancing road security and saves lives. He called on motorists to abide by the new traffic laws and speeds, and to ensure safe driving. Wishing everyone safety.
